October 2025 – Canary Wharf

Canary Wharf by Claire Sullivan

Saturday 18th October 2025 – 11:00 – 15:30

Led by Claire Sullivan and Dean Ashton

In October we head across to London Docklands area and visit Canary Wharf, specifically focused around the newly developed Crossrail Place.

Crossrail place is a celebration of the London Underground’s newest line, the Elizabeth Line. It merges nautical, business, finance and rail transport.

Modern architecture rises above the historic port-side warehouses of West India Quay. Explore the boats and cranes on the wharf, capture the rising glass and metallic architecture of the financial district, and explore the botanicals under cover, in the Cross Rail Place Roof Garden.
