In May, we start the first of our Summer Late sketch walks. Join us as we explore this redeveloped area of King’s Cross and discover its origins of complex archways and warehouses used for storing coal, supported by the canal that runs alongside it.

In June, we continue our Summer Late sketch walks as we move closer to the Summer Equinox. Join us to explore the hustle and bustle of London’s cinema district. Take the opportunity to visit the adjacent China Town. Look out for hidden statues from the world of entertainment. We’ll meet in front of the Shakespeare’s statue in the green area, at the center of Leicester Square.

In July, we stroll through the lush green landscapes of Regent’s Park and the jewel tones of Queen Mary’s Rose Gardens. Zoom out to capture the verdant splendor of the trees and bushes. Zoom in for a study of flora in its infinite variety. Nearest station, Regent’s Park (Bakerloo Line). We’ll meet by the ‘Map and Information’ board next to the black and golden entrance gates to the Rose Gardens.

August brings our final Summer Late sketch walk of 2024. Crossrail Place is a blend of nautical, business and rail transport. Modern architecture rises above the port-side warehouses of West India Quay. Crossrail place itself is a celebration of the London Underground’s newest line, the Elizabeth Line. Explore the boats and cranes of the wharf, capture the rising architecture of the financial district, and explore the covered roof garden topping London’s newest development. We’ll meet at the exit from the Elizabeth Line, next to the little coffee cabin.
