In March there will be four hosted Sketchwalks, to tie in with the Urban Sketchers London Exhibition at the Art Pavilion in Mile End Park (22-30 March 2025).
For each Sketchwalk, we will meet at 10:45am at the entrance to the Art Pavilion (Mile End Park, Clinton Rd, London E3 4QY) before heading to the designated sketching location at 11am. Alternatively, make your own way to the location, at your own pace. Early birds and latecomers are welcome!
Our hosts will welcome you to the nominated location, provide a quick run down of the area and then send you out into the environment to sketch.
The first “sketchbook throwdown” will be at 1pm at the designated sketching spot. In the afternoon, we encourage you to go freestyle, choose your own location, and return to the Art Pavilion at 3:30pm to share your art work. (3pm on Sunday 30th March)
Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned urban sketcher, grab your favourite art materials and discover the joy of drawing on location, showing your perspective of the world around you – one drawing at a time!
Saturday 22 March 2025 – 11am – 1pm
