How to Use the Instagram Carousel Cards to Share Your Exhibition Artwork
We’ve created a set of social media cards for you to personalize and share your participation in the Urban Sketchers London Open Exhibition! Follow these simple steps to add your own artwork and create a carousel post for Instagram:
Customizing Your Artwork Card in Canva
- Open Canva – If you don’t have an account, you can sign up for free at www.canva.com.
- Upload Your Sketch – Click Uploads on the left panel and drag your image into Canva.
- Import the Social Media Card – Upload the “Place Your Artwork Here” card from the downloads and add it to your design.
- Position Your Sketch – Drag your artwork over the pink rectangle. Resize and position it so it fits neatly within the space.
- Crop & Adjust – Use Canva’s cropping tool to trim any excess and ensure a clean, polished look.
- Export Your Image – Click Share > Download, select PNG or JPG, and save your final version to your device.
Creating Your Instagram Carousel Post
Once your artwork card is ready, upload it alongside the four additional cards featuring exhibition details, the program of sketch walks, and live demos. This will create a full carousel post that informs and engages your audience!
Alternatively, you can use ready-made title cards or simply share posts directly from @urbansketcherslondon on Instagram.
