In December we will embrace the Christmas spirit and sketch in and around the Tower Bridge area. The ‘Winter by the River‘ Christmas market will light up Queen’s Walk along the south bank, starting from the iconic Tower Bridge, past the City Hall in the Scoop and continuing past HMS Belfast through to Hays Galleria.
Key times and meeting points for the day:
11 am: We will meet by the City Hall, on the edge of Potters Fields Park. The wooden building (shown in the location photo) with the overhanging roof, will provide some shelter in case of rain.

1 pm :We will meet at the stone bench by the 11am meeting point, to look at the drawings done so far.
3.30 pm: Back to the stone bench by the meeting point, to look at drawings and take group photographs.
Afterwards: We will head to The Horniman at Hays pub in Hays Galleria for drinks and a chat (Unit 26, Hays Galleria, SE1 2HD).
Practical Information
Travel
London Bridge station (Northern Line, Jubilee Line, National Rail) – follow the exit signs for Tooley Street exit (5-10 minutes walk).
Toilets
Located inside London Bridge station. There are ‘free’ toilets inside Hays Galleria but can only be accessed with a code from one of the cafes/shops there.
Toilets are free and cleaned regularly.
